Past Honorees

The Nebraska Cures Woman in Science Award recognizes an outstanding woman whose work advances scientific knowledge and improves lives. Honorees are selected for their significant contributions to discovery, innovation, and the betterment of society, as well as for excellence in communicating science to the public or to policymakers. This award celebrates not only scientific achievement, but also leadership, integrity, and a commitment to advancing opportunities for women in science. Recipients are chosen annually by the Nebraska Cures Board of Directors and are honored at the organization’s Tribute Receptions.
