Executive Director Amanda McGill Johnson is in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial. Originally, the clinical trial was supposed to last two years. However, due to the urgency of the pandemic, participants were given the opportunity to learn if they got the got the vaccine or the placebo.
A few weeks ago, Amanda learned she was in the placebo group and was given the opportunity to receive the vaccine. The following is a short video about her experience receiving her first shot.
